Andy thoroughly surveyed our belongings and quickly got a quote to us. Rhonda had meticulous follow-up with scheduling and handling last minute packing list changes. Exceptional care was taken by the moving crew in packing our furniture, and our wood floors were covered with runners to prevent damage. Despite having some very large, very heavy furniture, not a single mark was made on the walls. We highly recommend NDMS.

This was by far the best moving experience I have had! I have moved quite a bit recently and have encountered some sketchy business practices. However there were no such issues with this company. They arrived on time, were professional, friendly, and handled our belongings with care. You can really tell that they pride themselves on top notch customer service and I couldn't be more impressed. The one feedback I have is for a little better communication and proactive follow up when drafting the contracts. However, it didn't impede or interfere with our phenomenal experience. All the workers were polite and very patient with me, especially since I was putting felt floor protectors on each piece of furniture they moved it. Great job guys!
We moved from Arlington, Tx to Round Rock, Tx June 12-13th.
My salesman was Jim Swann. He did an excellent job preparing me for the move. He even came by the day of the move to check and see that everything was going smoothly.
Jim, and Rhonda, in the Office, did an excellent job preparing the paperwork and staying in communication with us.
Dennis, our Driver and Crew Chief, arrived early. He and his crew were prepared, efficient, and friendly. It was a long, but successful day. Delivery on the following day went just as smooth.
I apologize for forgetting the name of the gentleman who was responsible for recording all the items on our inventory. He ran a tight ship and kept things running smoothly. Everything arrived in perfect condition.

I had the pleasure of meeting Carlos and team. They picked up a 2100 sq. foot house, full of furniture, from Beaufort, SC. to North Richland Hills, Texas. They were fantastic, fast, and got the job done correctly. No broken furniture. We flew to Texas to meet them and they almost beat us home. You won’t be sorry using this Company! Rhonda, the coordinator, has everything scheduled, calls regularly to let you know things being done. Don’t use anyone else, except North Dallas Moving and Storage.

The delivery team was absolutely wonderful. Very kind, polite, and professional and handled my things with care. We were extremely pleased with the quality of our packing team and moving team both at the loading and unloading locations. They were punctual, professional, and very skilled in both packing and moving our furniture. We have a lot of heavy, designer furniture and accessories that they treated with extra care. This is our third time to use North Dallas Moving and Storage (NDMS) for our move. The first two times, we moved over 1200 miles across country, and this time, we moved from Austin to Dallas area. We moved the contents of our 2600sq ft home across multiple state lines into a 1300sq ft apartment and 2 storage rooms. It took us 7 months for us to find and move into our new house. Needless to say, we were very anxious about the condition of our belongings as we saw them getting loaded into a very full van.
We had nothing to worry about. As we unpacked our house goods we were pleasantly surprised by how good everything still looked. We had used North Dallas Moving and Storage packing services and they did an outstanding job. NOTHING was broken. The guys that loaded the truck really exercised care and consideration in how our belongings were loaded. I have to admit that initially I was more than a little bit worried that they were packing my furniture in too tightly, but they knew what they were doing, my furniture arrived in great shape.
Overall, we are thrilled with the way everything has worked out! A special Five Stars shout out to the packers, loaders, and Carl the driver!!!
We used NDMS because of our past experience with United Van lines - we were not disappointed. The entire organization was accomodating and made us feel that ours was the most important move that they had. We highly recommend them!
After moving 8x in 15 years this was the first non-corporate move and I moved from TX to TN. We paid over $25,000 in total for them to pack, store and then deliver our household goods. Unfortunately, the price was not justified b/c this move was a complete debacle and the worst moving experiences ever.
I told them that I had 4 straight weeks of work travel starting on 9/5, so they said in order to guarantee delivery by 9/3 it cost an extra $1,200. There was no communication initiated with me at all leading up to delivery so I called right before my 2-week delivery window was told they would deliver on 9/3. I called to confirm on 9/2 and was told that a driver passed away 10 days prior and thus could deliver until 9/5.
I rescheduled my flight to later in the evening after they said it would take 3-4 hours to unload. After no contact again I called the driver the night before and she told me was 20 min away at a rest stop and would be at the house by 7am. She showed up 2 hours late and didn't finish until 3:45am. There numerous issues:
Packing:
• Poorly labeled boxes. (Ex. multiple boxes labeled Kitchen that were from the attic and many other random ones mislabeled)
• Curtains crumpled up in bottom of boxes.
• Sheets and towels were wrapped around a toilet scrubber.
• Markers, pens, pencils, etc. were thrown loose in with our clothing
• Dyson vacuum left loose and ended up cracked
• Heavy items packed with fragile items
Delivery:
• crew was constantly complaining about how heavy the boxes were and where they had to bring them
• Crew dropped boxes wherever despite labeled room on the box or direction.
• Crew members were under the influence as they were outside smoking often and would return with their eyes half shut, blood shot and glassy. We found empty alcohol bottles thrown in the grass where they parked.
• Crew was fighting over who was working harder and most were on the phone constanly throughout the day including when they were pushing the boxes on the dolly.
• When asked to move a box to the basement, one said, "Ah hell no I aint moving that downstairs. Do it yourself!"
• Despite requests to assemble out 4 children's bed right away they didn't start until 1am.
• At 1am 2 people refused to help b/c they "had to leave", but then sat outside on their phones for 45 min and then inside for another 45 min withouth doing anything before they left.
• Multiple items were left unassembled or not in working order including:
o Mechanical bed that was left with the feet raised to the highest level after they incorrectly hooked it up.
o Desks without the legs attached
o Basketball hoop unassembled
o No handles on the refrigerator
o Outside table with one leg left unattached
I sent an email over to North Dallas Moving and Storage right away listing all of these things and the response I received told me to call an 800 number and file a claim with the corporate office. There was zero acknowledgment of how unprofessional their employees were nor an apology for anything from the lack of communication to the poor packing or horrible delivery experience.
After going back and forth with the corporate office for several weeks they refused to acknowledge responsibility for the horrible scheduling and delivery experience, but finally reimbursed me the $1,200 for the guaranteed delivery window because they said I should never have been charged extra for a specific delivery date anyway. This means that instead of them trying to work with me around my deadline, they took advantage of me knowing. I even out to the president of the company via email and phone and he never responded back to me.
We submitted a claim for over $5,000 in damages. A company was dispatched to our home to verify the damages within a week of our submission. The person validating the damages and the values told me that everything looked valid and the values seemed were acceptable. It has not been almost 4 months and we haven’t received any communication on the status of our claim except that it is in process.

My husband and I moved last week from Dallas to Austin. After 35 years in the same house, we thought the move would be a nightmare experience. However, the quality of the movers at Dallas Moving & Storage helped to make this transition as easy as possible for us. Our movers, David, Issac and Willie were hard working, efficient and accommodating. We cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work.
My partner and had to relocate due to my partners promotion. The company he works for used this moving company as a third party to relocate. I had packed all my things because I don't like people touching my personal items. Unfortunately, they had to unpack all the boxes I had packed myself and repacked them for "safety" reasons. As I was opening the boxes at my new destination, I have come across many items that were damaged in the move. Part of my cat tree was broken. My wooden record player has a sizable scratch that was not covered with moving paper. And some books were folded and damaged. I will never have another company touch my items ever again.
Rhonda and Andy were top notch. Both were very helpful, patient, detailed, punctual, and friendly. My family was grateful for them and their transparency through the moving process.
The process to get our quote was great, easy and super thorough. Our move coordinator Rhonda was amazing! Any time there was a question or complication, she was right there to answer questions and sort out any problems. I knew she had my back the whole time and it was such a relief to have a great partner in what is inevitably a stressful process.

One of the best moves we have experienced. They were flexible with the move as we had to close on our home in Texas and wait for the closing in Florida. Everything went as smooth as can be! Started with Jim the sales rep came over and was able to get the estimate done and answer all my questions, then Rhonda took care of all the details from there keeping in great contact and answering all of my other questions. Nice group of guys moved us out quickly wrapping everything to make sure it was protected and then last had the nicest couple drive thr stuff cross country and get us unloaded into a small storage unit which I was scared was too small but they were able to organize it so everything fit and had it done quick along with some great conversion. We relocated from Texas to Colorado, had 11 rooms (including the garage) packed and moved by North Dallas Moving and Storage. We chose North Dallas, in part, because of a fair and reasonable price, but what really sold us was the exceptional customer service. From Ashley, Bruce and Rhonda who answered our calls, to the outstanding service of our sales representative Jim Karalla keeping us well informed on what to expect and being responsive to all questions we had about the move. Our office recently just relocated and used North Dallas Moving & Storage! We were not easy clients. Our move got postponed and there were last minute changes. But, Andy & Rhonda were always responsive and on top of any task that was throw their way! Very grateful for them making our chaotic move a little bit easier for all of us!

NDM&S moved all my belongings out of my 2 story townhouse and the crew was amazing. I have a HEAVY bedroom set and they got it down the stairs without a scratch! I had to reschedule my delivery several times as my house wasn't ready on time. I had to change delivery at the last minute, and they were very accommodating. When my belongings were delivered to my new home, everything was accounted for and in excellent condition. I would highly recommend North Dallas Moving and Storage!

North Dallas Moving and Storage's crew was great. They thought about the best way to move everything and took great care of everything!
