Here on homify we aim to help and inspire. But with a seemingly endless collection of high-profile designs and projects, we want to help you see the best of the best.

That’s why we’ve gathered five of our favourite interior design projects. Completed by five different interior design professionals, these projects all present different styles, spaces, layouts, locations and budgets, yet they all have one thing in common: they hit the style mark dead on without overlooking the importance of functionality / practicality.

Let’s start exploring, in no particular order…

1. The Paddington Penthouse

First on our list is this deluxe penthouse flaunting an area layout of no less than 150 m². Crafted by the masters of Prestige Architects, this abode had to undergo a decent renovation in order to give it a more updated look for the 2000s.

And our pros in charge did a most impressive job, seeing as they were shortlisted for the International Design Awards 2017 for this design.

2. The brilliant Barnet home

Located in north London in East Finchley, this four-bedroom home flaunts quite the impressive look after Studio Duggan breathed some modern life into it. Their style of choice? A delightful combination of the Scandinavian- and industrial styles, ensuring no chance of a mundane look. Case in point, those dining chairs: even though they’re all the same model, each one presents a different colour for some extra vivacity.

3. The Ibiza House

Now on to something no less stylish, but much more tranquil. After all, what do you expect when you travel all the way to this Mediterranean island?

TG-Studio was commissioned to re-design this country estate consisting of a three-bedroom house and two hectares of lush gardens (where two additional two-bedroom houses with en-suites can be found). Although the interiors are just as dreamy, it’s this outdoor patio with its rich texture (those wooden beams are prime perfection!), comfortable layout, and commitment to fresh air and breathtaking views that really get our creative juices flowing.

A great example of something that can be both subtle and lavish at the same time.

4. The beautiful new Brockley bathroom

Back in the UK for this one, and for this particular project we turn to Urbanist Architecture who had the pleasure of styling up a two-storey, mid-terraced home with its three bedrooms and one tiny bathroom.

Although new style and extra space was part of ‘after’ phase of this project, it is the brand-new bathroom in the L-shaped dormer loft conversation that stands out.

Our favourite feature in here? It's a tie between that tranquil free-standing tub and that eye-catching tile design of the shower's accent wall.

What's yours?

5. The inviting Victorian maisonette

Last, but certainly not least, on our list is the Victorian maisonette that was remodelled by Resi. Flaunting its new look with perfect precision, this amazing space now features a side return basking in rich sunshine thanks to that elongated skylight (and a generous glass sliding door a hop and a skip away from that inviting blue couch).

And did we mention that all of this was completed with a not-too-shabby renovation budget? Could you accomplish this look for a mere £50,000?
