Marble has made a modern comeback in interior design. The trick with marble is that you need to use it in small doses as accents and statement pieces, rather than in amounts that overwhelm you. This home that we are viewing today is a home that was crafted using marble in the most luxurious way imaginable.
Not only that, the home was also outfitted with classically modern furnishings and decorations. We'll walk you through this innovative home presented to us by the architects at Martins Valente Aruitetura in Sao Paulo, Brazil. We hope you'll enjoy!
Upon entering the home, we immediately notice a simple, modern design scheme implemented. Leather furniture, a neutral colour palette, and contemporary accessories like the entertainment centre are just some of the key elements that make this a modern home.
But besides all that, what we really came here to see are the breathtaking marble floors! We love how they sparkle underfoot and really bring a luxurious element to the space.
Next up, we have the kitchen and dining areas. Opulence doesn't take a break here, and we can see that thanks to the chandelier hanging over the sleek black dining room table. Both kitchen and dining areas are outfitted with plenty of cabinet storage, so nothing ever needs to be out of its place.

If the previous dining room was a little too formal for your taste, these residents have another dining area they can use.
This one is no more complex in design, but the white table and transparent chairs render a less formal atmosphere. And with those shades up, we bet the view is incredible!
Here in the living room, we see top of the line modern furnishings that give off an elegant style.
The room setup is also something to be admired–entertaining guests is a much more enjoyable experience when all your furniture is surrounds a single coffee table in the centre of the space.
Now, as we make our way to the bathroom, we are able to see some really pristine white marble.
The white colour not only makes this bathroom appear larger, it also gives off a luxurious and pampered vibe. The marble here also coordinates with the other styles we saw earlier.
In the other bathroom, we find this kind of grey swirling marble used instead of the white we just saw. The differentiating styles of marble are really what bring this home together.
The architects intentionally made the marble not uniform from room to room in order to create different atmospheres and styles.
Just before we go, we'd like to give you a sneak peak at the amazing space these architects created outside. Here, we have an astounding balcony–like what we would find in the movies!
A round table and chair set are perfect for decoration and for entertaining large parties. The architects also installed an awning above the dining table so that these residents could enjoy a meal without baking in the summer sun. And to top it all off, the two reclining chairs in front of that crystal clear blue swimming pool offer endless hours of relaxation in the sun.
