The renewal of an apartment is the occasion to develop an intervention balanced between the will to maintain and valorize the original aspects (wooden floors, shaped frames, frosted glass panels) that express the authentic value of this home,  with the functional needs to define a modern and dinamic space. The entrance/corridor is the core of the house, connecting all the rooms, and it maintains all its materic features, as the checkered floor, the wooden doors and the entrance door; the suspended ceiling is the element of renewal, that outlines a linear gap with the flowing light from above. The living room and the studio emphasize the warm and intimate feel of the home, that pursues a calm and moderate sense of spatiality; for this purpose are preferred integrated solutions in the walls rather than indipendent furnitures; some niches, wall shelves and cupboards are settled, in order to reach a higher visual order that avoids messy additions. The completely renewed rooms are the kitchen and the toilet, arranged with light and soft colors, according with the general aspect of the apartment and its finishes.
